The 2nd Chances Cancer Team is one of 10 dedicated organizations competing annually in support of the It Only Takes A Spark Cancer Walk — a Grant County non-profit that has helped local cancer patients cover the out-of-pocket costs of treatment in a rural area; gas, hotel stays, and everyday expenses that don't stop when treatment begins.

Now in our fifth year and proudly sponsored by The Pump 2.0 right here in Milbank, our team works hard all year long — hosting dart tournaments, Chase the Ace drawings, poker runs, gun raffles, card drawings, and community social events — all to build momentum for the big walk each June at Lake Farley Park.

Every single dollar raised stays in Grant County, going directly to families dealing with the financial weight of cancer treatment in rural South Dakota. No overhead. No middleman. Just neighbors helping neighbors.
